Daisy and Lizzie

Welcome to Tag Hollow

We are a small hobby breeder of Labrador Retrievers based out of the Lakes region of New Hampshire. Any litter bred by us is primarily for the purpose of continuing our breeding program. Our main goal is to breed Labradors that exemplify the American Kennel Club standard and can be readily trained to fill various roles; whether that is as a companion, a family member, a hiking partner, a hunting asset, an agility enthusiast, a service or therapy animal. We strive to breed a dog that will excel in any environment with the proper training. While our kennel is relatively young, we have been in the Labrador show world for some time.

Kristin got started while still in grade school as a part of Debonair Labs. Kristin with Lizzie at beachThere she began to quickly absorb information from many amazing mentors and was blessed to have been able to participate in both 4H and AKC Junior Handling. Her love for the Labrador was able to flourish as she continued to be involved in breeding, training, and handling dogs while in highschool. She took a small step back from being directly involved in breeding in order to stretch her wings and continue her education through attending an out of state college for Biology. Further going on to be accepted into a veterinary college before life made that career path unattainable. In both colleges she was able to expand her skills and make lasting connections with many extrordinary people around the world.

Mark and LizzieMark grew up with family skilled in several aspects of the construction field and has gained experience and knowledge throughout his life. He manages the log processing for Tag Hollow and once our personal supply is secured, he keeps campwood bundles available for purchase at the roadside as well as hardwood by the cord locally with delivery available. Mark also runs the landscaping and excavation aspects of Tag Hollow, using his years of experience in the field to not only maintain our personal property but also assisting those in the area with their projects.

Mark's introduction to Labradors happened at the end of high school, where he began dating Kristin and was quickly dragged into everything she was involved in. Before long he became a first time dog owner when Kristin brought home a puppy in the middle of the night. Since then he has developed a deep love for the breed and training canines, quick to take credit for any tricks the dogs master. Though Kristin would argue that his biggest accomplishment was teaching the cats to act like dogs.

Together, they look forward to continuing to enrich their lives with Labradors as well as continue to serve our communtiy with the skills we have gained throughout our lives. Labrador Retrievers are an extremely versitile breed so who knows what adventure they will lead us to next.
